Dear Tourism Partner Each year Tourism Ireland organises in excess of 200 workshops, events and promotions in overseas markets. In 2010 the number of Northern Ireland Industry representatives participating in these events has greatly increased, with more and more industry taking the opportunity, in person, to encourage visitors to holiday in Northern Ireland. Feedback from Northern Ireland industry who have attended has been very positive and participation has helped them to know the market and grow their business. Our colleagues in the NITB have co-ordinated industry attendance for the last number of years, but from April 26th 2010, industry in Northern Ireland should register for attendance at Overseas Workshops, Events and Promotions directly with the relevant Tourism Ireland market office. Industry Opportunities website and we would encourage you to register there to ensure that you are kept up-to-date. At the start of each year Tourism Ireland will publish a list of the upcoming overseas workshops, events and promotions for the year ahead, together with the contact details for registering your interest. Once you have registered interest, you will receive detailed information on the event as soon as it becomes available and you can then sign up for it, right up until the closing date.
